Quality
The Hengesbach product range meets the criteria of functionality, safety, and reliability.
Our commitment to quality is a systematically verifiable factor for our customers. In terms of both design and electrical specifications, the Hengesbach product range meets the high requirements of “hygienic design” (design for easy cleaning) as well as the prevailing physical and chemical conditions on the process and environmental sides (e.g. highly fluctuating or consistently high process temperatures, aggressive cleaning solutions, resistance to high-vibration applications, IP protection classes 67 and 69K).
Hygienic design is a particularly important aspect in production facilities within the food industry, pharmaceuticals, and biotechnology. For these hygiene-sensitive areas, Hengesbach offers a wide range of process measurement technology developed according to the criteria of hygienic design. EHEDG certificates, FDA approvals, and material certificates in accordance with EN 10204 attest to this. Tested and certified devices and material components are identified accordingly in the product overview.
User groups benefit from this: both plant designers and builders as well as plant operators thereby gain the necessary planning reliability.
A design suitable for cleaning and the resulting prevention of contamination form the basis for reliable, safe, and sustainable product quality - and thus consumer protection - throughout the entire supply and process chain.
Environment
Respect for the environment is an integral part of our corporate policy. The environmental aspects relevant to our company are:
Material and resource efficiency (consumption and handling of recyclable materials)
Energy efficiency – energy consumption (electricity and heat)
These environmental aspects are systematically and continuously analyzed, evaluated, and improved within the framework of our integrated management system. We have systematized the significant impacts of our operational processes and products on environmental aspects based on the product life cycle.
Every employee is expected to optimize energy and material efficiency in their work activities and is supported in this by management. Furthermore, environmental aspects also play a major role in our procurement processes (e.g., in supplier selection).
We have assigned corresponding environmental goals to these two environmental aspects:
Material / Resource efficiency:
- Minimizing production waste
- Maximizing equipment lifespan
- Minimizing material consumption
- Substitution of materials with more environmentally friendly alternatives
- Maximizing recyclable and recycled materials
Energy efficiency:
- Minimizing consumption, broken down by electricity and heat
- Maximizing the use of renewable energy
- We manage our environmental performance by continuously monitoring and measuring the degree to which these environmental goals are achieved, as well as by setting adjusted target values for the following year
